CURMI. On May 26, ANN, from Luqa but residing at Costa del Sol, Għadira, passed away peacefully, aged 66, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Twanny, her children Romina and her husband Joe Gauci, Candice and her husband Vince Muscat, Reuben and his wife Joanne Curmi, Romina, wife of the late beloved Christian Curmi, her brothers and sisters Johnny, Gina, Andrew, Pius, Marlene, Hilda and Oreste and their respective spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 3.30pm for St Andrew’s parish church, Luqa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm followed by interment in the family grave at the cemetery of the same parish. Donations to the Hospice Movement will be appreciated.
FARRUGIA. On May 26, GUIDO, of Sta Venera, aged 81, passed away peacefully, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Josephine, his children Catherine and her husband Cliff Pace, Geraldine and her husband John Portelli and his grandchildren Matthew, Emma, Alexander and Daniel, as well as his sisters Ginny Galea and Guża Axiak and his in-laws, other relatives and many friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Francis of Assisi church, Villambrosa where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Malta Hospice Movement will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
PANZAVECCHIA. On May 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, LEA, née Bartolo, of Sliema, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her dearly beloved children Chev. Donaetienne and her husband Peter Zammit, Massimo and Kerstin, her beloved grandchildren Francesca, Luca, Nicholas, her dear brother Dr Joseph Bartolo and his wife Irene, her dear sisters Marie Louise and her husband Dr Anthony Buhagiar and Vivienne Azzopardi and their families, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by internment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
