A 28-year-old man from Mtarfa was seriously injured in a four-car crash in Mdina Road, Attard, early yesterday morning.

The accident happened at 5.20am when the 28-year-old, who was driving a Fiat Tempra towards Qormi, collided with a Honda Accord that was being driven by a 30-year-old man from Attard towards Birkirkara, the police said.

Soon after, a 44-year-old man from Rabat driving a Vauxhall Astra crashed into the two cars and was quickly followed by a fourth car, which crashed into the three cars.
