Thousands of Australian and New Zealander servicemen and women killed during the wars are commemorated in an official ANZAC monument, inaugurated yesterday, which was built by sculptor Gianni Bonnici and placed in Floriana’s Argotti Gardens. The memorial was inaugurated by Foreign Minister George Vella and Nicholas Bonello, chairman of the ANZAC Memorial Committee Malta.
