What does it take to set up your non-governmental organisation? The Zone met up with Maria Pisani, who has been passionately working with migrants and people with special needs ever since she can remember and has set up Integra Foundation for this purpose.

Dr Pisani and Catherine Petersson, a student in human rights and an intern at the foundation, share their experience of working with marginalised people.

Find out what it takes to help people in need and why it is important to create a voice for those who cannot speak.

Be heard and share your own experiences with others. Tell them about your career choice, what it takes to get where you are, the ups and downs you experience, and offer advice to those who are still uncertain about what they want to do in the future.
