The Yada Dance Company has landed in Earth Garden, giving the audience the chance to go back to the era dominated by hippies, bringing to life a phenomenon of vibrant colour and music with Summer of Love.

An original show with music by Bob Dylan, Donna Summer, The Beatles, The Animals, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Janice Joplin and The Monkees

Directed and produced by Felix Busuttil, a large company of dancers will dance to an original show with music by Bob Dylan, Donna Summer, The Beatles, The Animals, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Janice Joplin and The Monkees.

The show will also feature the top pieces from the acclaimed musical Hair.

Yada is renowned for surprising audiences with performances that engulf the whole theatre with colour, strong choreography, fantastic lights and special effects.

Past shows like Moulin Rouge, Michael Jackson Forever and Dirty Dancing have had the biggest audiences ever.

On returning from shows in San Francisco, the 1960s headquarters of the Love Revolution, Yada has taken up this offer with fervent enthusiasm.

Summer of Love is being performed next Sunday at 9pm as part of the events taking place during the Earth Garden Festival weekend.

The festival is an eagerly-anticipated event on the local calendar, typically attracting an average of 15,000 enthusiasts every year.

Tickets for Summer of Love are available at €15 from Springfield (Valletta and Sliema), the College of Dance, San Ġwann, online from www.ooii.com.mt, by calling 9922 9014 or 9982 5077 and also from all Earth Garden outlets (for list, refer to www.earthgarden.com.mt).

Those purchasing tickets for the YADA show will also be entitled to free entrance to the Earth Garden Festival throughout the whole weekend.
