A Commission for the revision of the PN’s statute and structures has been set up by party leader Simon Busuttil.

The commission is chaired by Francis Zammit Dimech. The other members are Therese Comodini Cachia, John Bonello, Valentina Cassar, Christabelle Ebejer, Angelo Micallef, Gejtu Vella, Kevin Cutajar, David Zahra, Noel Galea and Josianne Cardona Gatt.
The commission will recommend amendments to the party's statute aimed at making the PN more open, inclusive, organised and closer to the people. The commission has been requested to present its final report, together with a draft of the updated statute by July 31.
The party said the commission will have full access to the necessary information within the party and will meet and consult councillors, members, activists and anyone it believed it needed to meet.
Dr Busuttil said this was the first step towards the reorganisation of the PN. The revision of the statute and structures were the foundations on which the PN would again become a party of the people, he said.
