DINGLI. On May 13, to Denise née Farrugia and Jonathan, a son – BEN, a brother to Camille and Jan. Deo gratias et Mariæ. Special thanks to the obstetrician and staff at Obs1, Mater Dei Hospital.

MANGION. On April 30, at Mater Dei Hospital Maternity Wing, to Michelle née Scerri and Kevin, God’s precious gift of a first-born daughter – ANTONIA, a cousin to Julia. Thanks to all the staff at the maternity wing. Special thanks go to midwife Miss D. Mizzi.

The marriage took place on Sunday, May 19, 1968, at St Julian’s parish church. Much love and best wishes from Sandra and Nicola, Kevin and Leana, and your grandchildren Carla, Mark and Emily.

Obituaries

KRANTZ. On May 7, in Stockholm, ULF, aged 61. Husband of Jeanette, father to Elisa, Daniel (deceased), Fredric and Anna. He also leaves to mourn his loss his granddaughter Lily Rose and son-in-law Gary, his mother Inga, and his siblings Britta, Peter and Charlotte, nephews, nie­ces, extended family and friends. The funeral service will be held at Oscarkyrkan, Stockholm, on May 31 at 2pm.

LEONE GANADO. On May 17, at Karin Grech Hospital, ALDO, of Sliema, widower of Maria née Gatt, went the meet the Risen Lord comforted by rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Elvia and her partner Raphael, Ray, Rachelle and her husband Stephen D’Alessandro, his grandchildren Fiona and her husband Thomas Lee, Patrick and his fiancée Miriam, Nicholas and Jonathan, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital tomorrow at 9am for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi would be greatly appreciated. Lord grant him eternal rest.

MICALLEF. On the third anniversary of the death of EVELYN (Vivi) who died on May 24, 2010. Fondly remembered by her husband Not. Francis Micallef and her children Nello and his wife Lesley, Stephen and his wife Mariella, Mario and his wife Yvette and Mariella and her husband Ray Mamo, her sisters Margaret Hedges and Edwige Felice Pace, her grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Mass will be said on May 24 at 5.30pm at Tal-Ħġejjeġ chapel, Buġibba (near Gillieru). Please remember her in your prayers.

SELVAGI. Treasured memories of dearest JOAN, a wonderful wife, mum, grandma, sister and friend. Today being the fourth anniversary of Joan’s passing away, the 11am Mass at Ibraġ parish church will be offered for the repose of her soul. May Joan rest in the peace of the Lord she loved so unconditionally.
