10am The President is presented with a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund, collected from figolli sold during Easter by students attending Naxxar Boys Secondary School, at San Anton Palace, Attard.

11am He receives committee members of the Lourdes Band Club of Qrendi on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace

2pm He presides over the meeting for the Commission of the Administration of Justice at the Palace, Valletta.

Tuesday

10am The President receives members of the Bicycle Advocacy Group on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.

11am He recieves Joseph Buhagiar, director of Argotti Botanic Gardens and Gard-med Malta Partner Project coordinator, on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.

3.30pm Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund Working Committee at San Anton Palace.

5pm The President and Mrs Abela preside over the Ball of the August Moon committee meeting at San Anton Palace.

8.15pm The President attends a concert by Joseph Calleja in connection with European Maritime Day at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta.

Wednesday

10am The President visits St Francis School in Victoria.

11am He visits the Bishop’s Conservatory, Primary and Secondary School in Victoria.

5pm The President and Mrs Abela inaugurate the conservation project and full restoration works at the Russian Chapel at San Anton Palace.

Thursday

10am The President receives artist Antonio Mifsud on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.

11am He visits an exhibition entitled ‘Il-Mastrudaxxa ta’ Nazareth’, organised by Għaqda Wirjiet San Ġużepp Ħaddiem Birkirkara at St Joseph’s parish centre, Birkirkara.

Friday

11am The President visits the Notarial Archives in Valletta.

7pm The President and Mrs Abela inaugurate an exhibition of paintings entitled Landmarks, by Andrew Micallef, in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund at San Anton Palace.

Sunday

The President departs on a private visit to the UK.
