• Bank of Valletta’s Philately Club will meet at Fatima Sanctuary Convent, Guardamangia, on Tuesday at 6pm. For details call 7931 5509.
• Rubbish Politics: Political Motivation and the Reluctance to Recycle in Maltese Environmental Behaviour is the theme of this year’s ninth Work in Progress in the Social Studies seminar to be held on Wednesday from 6 to 7pm in the University’s Architecture Building (BEN) Room D. The speaker is Marie Briguglio. The public is invited.
• An art exhibition will be inaugurated at the St Philip’s band club by Health Minister Godfrey Farrugia on May 27 at 7.30pm. The exhibits will be mainly sculptures by artist Raymond Cortis.
• A children’s procession for St Philip will be held on May 29, starting from the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows to Sciortino Street, Żebbuġ.
