St Margaret College’s Żejtun Girls’ Secondary School recently held a fashion show with a difference as part of an environmental awareness campaign regarding recycling material. School classes were asked to design and make a costume out of recycled material which were subsequently worn by students at a school fashion show in the school hall. Weeks of preparation and perseverance led to some very creative outfits such as the one seen above. The judges, composed of students, teachers and visitors, had a hard task to choose the three winning classes. This event was an initiative of teachers and students forming part of the school’s Ekoskola group.
