Homosexuality and Christianity

To the believers, and not only those who profess the Christian faith, two men and two women can never constitute a couple that is comparable to that of a heterosexual couple.

While homosexuals remain loved by God and can aspire to a life of holiness, homosexual acts go against the natural moral order and will always remain a grave offence towards God.

God created them “male and female, and blessed them” and no amount of legislation, no matter how widespread, can ever change this. Believers will continue to subscribe to and to proclaim this truth, whatever the consequences.

As in the early times of Christianity, and as the present Pope is continuously telling us, Christians, “the salt of the earth”, can never conform to the “worldliness” of the world that ultimately, he affirms, is that of the devil.
