Enemalta in the year up to last March suspended 293 domestic electricity accounts after bills with a total value of €1.6 million remained unpaid, Energy Minister Konrad Mizzi said in reply to a parliamentary question.

The corporation also suspended 189 non-residential accounts where the unpaid amounts totalled €2.6 million, the minister told Labour MP Chris Agius
