Tomorrow

10am The President receives a courtesy call from Kevin Borg at San Anton Palace.

11am He receives a courtesy call from the newly elected committee members of the Malta Historical Society at San Anton Palace.

Noon He receives a courtesy call from the Grand Master of the Military and Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem Don Carlos Gereda de Borbon at San Anton Palace.

1pm He visits Dar Nazareth in Żejtun, followed by the presentation of a van donated by L-Istrina 2012.

5.15pm He presides over the oath of office of Simon Busuttil as Leader of the Opposition at the Palace, Valletta.

6.30pm He attends a thanksgiving Mass on the 20th anniversary of the Richmond Foundation at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta.

Tuesday

11am The President is presented with a publication entitled Banking and Finance in the Mediterranean: A Historical Perspective by John Consiglio at San Anton Palace.

2pm He presides over the Rockestra Core Group meeting at San Anton Palace.

4pm Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund Working Committee at San Anton Palace.

Wednesday

9.30am The President visits St Cecilia Kindergarten in Tarxien.

10.30am He visits St Edward’s College in Vittoriosa.

11am Mrs Abela receives a courtesy call from the pupils attending Mqabba Kindergarten School at San Anton Palace.

6pm The President and Mrs Abela preside over the board meeting of the Malta Community Chest Fund at San Anton Palace.

Thursday

11am The President visits Fondazzjoni Arka in Gozo.

Friday

10.30am The President visits an exhibition entitled Painting Diaries by Matthew Cassar funded by Il-Premju tal-President għall-Kreattività at Palazzo Ferreria, Valletta

11.30am He receives a courtesy call from Michael and Rita Catania at the Palace, Valletta.

12.15pm He receives a courtesy call from the members of L-Għaqda Mużikali Vittorja, winners of the Malta Mechanised Ground Fireworks Festival 2013, at the Palace, Valletta.

1.30pm He receives a courtesy call from Margarita Popova, Vice-President of Bulgaria, at the Palace, Valletta.

7pm He inaugurates the Bank of Valletta exhibition by Richard England at the Bank of Valletta head office in St Venera.
