Express Group has established a collaboration with Spanish transport and logistics company Transportes Tresserras, to support the supply chain of chilled and frozen food products from Spain to Malta.

“We have been seeing a growing number of requests from our customers for collection of food products from Spain over the past months,” Express Group general manager Johann Vella explained.

“More customers are looking for a wider variety and throughout the year, not only seasonal. This new collaboration with Transportes Tresserras makes the availability of this wide choice a possibility.”

Mr Vella added this collaboration allowed the group to accept bookings, even for the smallest shipments throughout Spain, including the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands.

Transit time involves around seven days.

Operating in Girona, Transportes Tresserras was established in 1879 and is today operated by the family’s fifth generation.
