D’ANASTASI. On May 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, EVELYN, née Fenech, of Żebbuġ, aged 83, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Josette, Raymond, Hilda, Anna and Helen, their spouses, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7am for St Philip’s parish church, Żebbuġ, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Żebbuġ. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

MICALLEF. On May 9, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, MIRIAM JOYCE, of St Venera, aged 68, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Alfred, their daughters Audrey and her husband Mark and Denise and her husband Daniel, her grandchildren Sara Anne, Sean Edward and Daniela, her mother Carmen Barbara, brothers and sisters, in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for St Francis church, Villambrosa Street, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

WISMAYER. On May 8, in Italy, JOHN LAWRENCE, aged 63, passed away suddenly comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Tanya née Bezzina, his children Matthew and his wife Annabelle, Rachel and her husband Stephen Calleja, his grandchildren Sean, Hannah and Erika, his brothers and sisters Oswald, Philip, Roland, Tonio, Elizabeth, Loraine, Gloria, Gillian, their spouses, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

In Memoriam

BARTOLI – NATHALIE. In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother, today the 13th anniversary of her death. Dearly missed by her children David, Celia and Alan, their spouses and grandchildren. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BUTTIGIEG – JOSEPH, passed away five years ago today. Remembered and loved always by his wife Judith, his family and many friends.

CIANCIO – Comm. VINCENT CIANCIO, B.Pharm., M.Educ., MRSH (Lond.), Knight Commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. Remembering a very dear husband and father, especially today being the ninth anniversary of his passing away to a better life. Always loved and sadly missed by his wife Hermione and son Brian. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said on May 12 at 11am at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SCIFO – MARIA. In ever loving memory of a beloved mother and grandmother on the third anniversary of her demise. Always in our thoughts and prayers. Daughter Pauline, Maruska, Brian, Alexis and all the family.
