The coalition with Parliamentary Secretary for Animal Rights Roderick Galdes to discuss media reports on hunting and trapping.

In the meeting it referred Mr Galdes to his comments on the possibility of exploring a technical loophole with the aim of applying a derogation to allow the trapping of wild birds in autumn.

“Together, we should be educating our adults and children to respect all living creatures; such actions by the ministry are sending the wrong message,” the coalition said.
