The boat on which five French tourists went missing on Sunday-Monday night was recovered by the AFM yesterday after it was found capsized. It was extensively damaged.

AFM aircraft and boats today continued their search for a man and a teenage boy who are still missing, but there were no sightings by mid-afternoon.

The dead body of a man was found early this morning in the South Comino Channel after the corpses of two women were found off Fomm Ir-Rih yesterday.

The search is concentrated off the West coast of Malta.

The five went missing after sailing out of Xlendi Bay at midnight on Sunday, heading for their yacht off Dwejra in the west of Gozo.

In a statement the police confirmed that the two women found dead yesterday came from the French group. They died by drowning.
