10.30am He visits St Francis Kindergarten in Siġġiewi.

Tuesday

11am The President presides over a meeting regarding the President’s Concert 2014 at San Anton Palace, Attard.

Noon He receives Dr Jean Buttigieg, of the Department of Philosophy at the University, at San Anton Palace.

4pm Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund Working Committee at San Anton Palace.

Wednesday

Noon The President receives a courtesy call from Fr Franco Fenech, chaplain at the Corradino Correctional Facility at San Anton Palace.

1pm He receives the newly appointed Chamber of Commerce of Malta management board, led by David Curmi at San Anton Palace.

7.30pm He attends a reception hosted by Oren David, Ambassador of Israel, and Mrs David on the 65th anniversary of the independence of Israel at the Hilton Hotel, St Julian’s.

Thursday

10am The President receives Prime Minister Joseph Muscat at the Palace, Valletta.

11.30am He presents certificates to those who attend a course organised by the Malta Society of the Blind at the Birkirkara Civic Centre.

8pm He attends a reception hosted by Martin Bugelli, head of the European Commission Representation in Malta and Peter Agius, head of the European Parliament Office in Malta on Jum l-Ewropa at Dar l-Ewropa in Valletta.

Friday

10am The President visits Verdala International School in Pembroke.

11am He visits St Catherine’s School in Pembroke.

6.30pm The President and Mrs Abela preside over the Malta Community Chest Fund board meeting at San Anton Palace.

Saturday

5pm They attend Mela Darba fil-Kastell at Verdala Palace.

Sunday

9am The President and Mrs Abela attend Mass on Mother’s Day at San Anton Palace.

11am They attend Mela Darba fil-Kastell at Verdala Palace.
