This year’s Actavis Lifecycle Challenge will see cyclists covering a 2,000-kilometre route over 11 days in northeastern Europe – from Minsk to St Petersburg.
Present for the signing of the corporate sponsorship agreement with Actavis and Lifecycle’s logo launch were Lifecycle (Malta) Foundation secretary Shirley Cefai; Sergio Vella, Actavis vice-president, Manufacturing, Operations, Western Europe; Patrick Cachia, managing director, Actavis Ltd; Daniel Vella Friggieri, Actavis regional director for Africa; and Mauro Abdilla, marketing manager.
Mr Vella said that as a corporate member of the local community, Actavis was proud to be associated with such worthy initiatives. “In fact, this is not the first time the company is committing itself to supporting the Lifecycle Challenge and other and philanthropic initiatives, aimed at alleviating some of the hard-ships endured by members of the community.”
The foundation’s mission statement is to offer renal patients a better quality of life.
Actavis is a global team of more than 17,000 passionate professionals working together to achieve a global mission.
