Costa Coffee has opened its fourth outlet at The Axis Complex in Paceville.
Last year Island Hotels Group Holdings, through its subsidiary The Coffee Company, signed a franchise agreement with Costa International for exclusive development and operating rights in Malta.
Costa was founded by Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa in London in 1971. Their small family business was bought by Whitbread, an established English company, in 1995 and has since grown to over 2,000 stores in 25 countries, but still remains true to its Italian heritage.
The company has built its reputation on the excellence of its coffee and the quality of the food and service it provides.
Costa Coffee provides a choice of over 10 types of coffees, using Costa’s very own Mocha Italia blend. A vast selection of sweet and savoury snacks is also available. Costa franchise in Malta general manager Robert Buttigieg said: “We are thrilled to be open in Paceville. This is an exciting new chapter of the Costa Coffee Malta story.”
The other three outlets are at Malta International Airport.
