Tomorrow being the 45th anniversary since WILLIAM D’AMATO went to meet the Risen Lord, Masses in his memory will be said at St Augustine parish church, Valletta. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated.

Talk on planning abuse
Fifty Years of Planning Abuse: Look Around You and Weep is the title of a talk that will be delivered on Thursday by Martin Scicluna, director general of the Today Public Policy Institute and former Din l-Art Ħelwa executive president. The presentation will focus on the battle over the last five decades to safeguard Malta’s architectural and environmental heritage.
“This is a story about greed, exploitation, abuse, misgovern-ance and political ineptitude. It is an object lesson in how not to safeguard your environment,” Mr Scicluna said.
The talk will take place at Din l-Art Ħelwa’s Judge Caruana Curran lecture room at 133 Melita Street, Valletta, at 6pm.

Between 10am and 3pm in Jean Houel and Birguma streets, Naxxar.
