The Malta Records Festival is being held at Qormi this evening.

During the event, a raviola by Tat-Taljan weighing nearly 100 kilos was presented, attempting to break the Guinness World record held by Woodcreek High School in Roseville, California.
The festival will include another attempt to break a Guinness World record with the largest garlic butter roll - nine metres long - produced by Giormina Bakery.

There is a host of 80 local records including the 3.48m hot dog pictured above, the biggest local F1 collection, the biggest local collection of police car models, the oldest cactus and the biggest Christmas Tree made of glass.

Other Guinness World records held by Malta include the largest wine glass and firework Catherine wheel, which are both on display.
