Our fuel purchases

Whose responsibility is it within Enemalta to announce the monthly fuel price changes and when should this be made public?

Whenever fuel prices are announced – usually the day before they come into effect, on the first day of a month, but not this time – should it not be made clear exactly when any changes are to be implemented?

Does Enemalta buy fuel every month? How much does it buy? What is the maximum storage capacity and what price does it pay for such purchases?

Where are these answers made known and how may the public access them? It is, after all, their money which buys the fuel, with Enemalta merely purchasing it on their behalf.
