PN has to be a party of the people for the people - Raymond Bugeja

The Nationalist Party has to be a party of the people for the people, PN leadership candidate Raymond Bugeja said this evening.

Addressing party councillors at the Corinthia Hotel in Attard, he said that following the campaign and his meetings with councillors, he was now more convinced than ever before that important changes were needed within the party.

The party needed to start a new chapter, it had to be strong, and be a constructive opposition which scrutinised the government's work while communicating with the people and offering an alternative.

The people had to be heard and solutions and ideas needed to be discussed and formulated by the grassroots.

Mr Bugeja said that although he had no past links to the party, he had experience in management and administration and was motivated to represent the voice of the people and come up with solutions.
