It was good to see the remembrance parade for the Anzacs. If I am not mistaken, a couple of years ago they had wanted to hold a memorial in the gardens at Floriana.

However, Malta has a unique building, with no other like it anywhere, with a plaque telling all what the building is all about. It’s called Australia Hall and can be found in Pembroke.

This building was used by the British Services as a cinema and theatre but it now lies in ruin, with just four walls.

What a disgrace to the memory of the Anzacs. Would it not be a fitting tribute if this ruin were to be restored?

In my opinion it would make a good museum and be a true memorial to the Anzacs.
