Tomorrow

11am The President receives Aide to the Church in Need director national Neville Kyrke Smith and Fondazzjoni Kenn u Tama director Fr Michael Xuereb at the Palace, Valletta.

Noon He receives Oppostion Leader Lawrence Gonzi at the Palace, Valletta.

2pm He presides over the meeting for the Commision of the Administration of Justice at the Palace, Valletta.

4.30pm He hosts high tea in honour of union representatives on Workers’ Day at Verdala Palace.

Tuesday

10am The President visits PricewaterhouseCoopers in Qormi.

11.15am He visits KPMG in Pietà.

4pm Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund Working Committee at San Anton Palace.

7.30pm The President attends a reception on the National Day of the Netherlands, the abdication of Queen Beatrix and the investiture of King Willem Alexander at the Ambassador’s residence in Ta’ Xbiex.

8.30pm He attends a reception hosted by the Prime Minister and Mrs Muscat on the ninth anniversary of Malta’s Accession to the EU at the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta.

Wednesday

6.30pm The President attends Mass at Santa Marija ta’ Ġesú church, Rabat, on the 50th anniversary of the coronation of the statue of St Joseph.

Thursday

9.30am The President is presented with credentials by Apostolic Nuncio Mgr Aldo Cavalli at the Palace, Valletta.

10.45am He is presented with commission letters by Zambian High Commissioner Frank Mutubila at the Palace, Valletta.

11.30am He is presented with credentials by Croatian Ambassador Damir Grubisa at the Palace, Valletta.

1.30pm The President and Mrs Abela host a luncheon in honour of the newly accredited ambassadors at San Anton Palace.

Friday

9.45am The President attends the inauguration the ninth Football Marathon, organised by Puttinu Cares at the Marsa Sports Ground.

Noon He attends the wreath laying ceremony by the Royal Air Forces Association at the Air Forces Memorial in Floriana.

7pm He inaugurates an art exhibition, entitled Mattia Preti: Faith and Humanity, at the Palace, Valletta.

Saturday

10am The President is presented with a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund by the Consulate of Brazil at San Anton Palace.

Sunday

7pm The President presides over the prize-giving ceremony of the Horticultural Spring Show at San Anton Private Gardens.
