The Palace Hotel in Sliema will once again be collaborating with the Valletta Grand Prix Foundation for the forthcoming Mdina Grand Prix Classic Car Event 2013.

The hotel’s facilities will be at the foundation’s disposal. Last year, The Palace had received several glowing testimonials from drivers and foreign journalists who had come to Malta to cover the event.

“We believe that through sponsorship of events like the Mdina Grand Prix, we are helping Malta enhance its tourist product. The hotel will be catering for a VIP from Italy and a special guest from the UK,” hotel manager Kevin Callus said.

This year’s event will see no fewer than 70 participants in the race, which will take place around the Mdina bastions. Following the success of the Mdina Glass Concours d’Elegance last year, this glamorous event will once again be held at Cathedral Square in Mdina.
