Malta 5D, at No. 7, Old Bakery Street, Valletta, is a touch of history brushed up with the new generation technology of 3D cinematic special effects enhanced with leg ticklers, water sprays, air blasts, smells and the jostles of moving seats.
Aerial views and the juxtaposition of past and present will leave viewers in total awe of the Maltese islands. The audience soars over the archipelago on a memorable adventure through a time machine as they witness landmark events that shaped the local story. The commentary is concise and can be easily absorbed.
The show runs for approximately 20 minutes and is an ideal way start educational or leisure Valletta excursions for all age groups. The location is right in the heart of the capital, so all other attractions, shops and cafes are a stone’s throw away.
The theatre has 74 seats, of which 64 are are moving seats and 10 are non-moving. The latter are for people who suffer severe neck and back pains, vertigo, motion sickness, heart ailments, epilepsy and pregnant women.
Malta 5D is open daily and the show runs every half hour, Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 4pm, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10am to 2pm.
The show may run out of schedule hours for groups, as well as run back-to-back for the larger groups. This would be ideal for a Valletta by Night excursion.
