The Malta Horticultural Society will be holding its annual spring horticultural show at San Anton Gardens, Attard, on Saturday.
The society, which is affiliated with the Royal Horticultural Society of the UK, was set up in 1903.
The show will feature flower arrangements, cut flowers, pot plants, fruit and vegetables. There will also be various competitions by flower-arranging professionals and teachers.
A section reserved for schoolchildren will feature a competition for more than 200 classes.
The show, which opens to the public at 2pm, will remain open until 10pm. Next Sunday, it will be open between 8am and 9pm.
President George Abela will preside over the prize-giving ceremony next Sunday at 7pm.
Entrance fee is €2 per person, while children under 12 do not pay.
