Victoria Primary School celebrated World Book Day last Tuesday with a series of activities to increase the love of books in children. The schoolchildren were actively engaged in storytelling sessions, group and shared reading, a treasure hunt and a puppet theatre. The Schoolchildren Council also launched the book Il-Villaġġ ta’ Serpentinu by Victoria schoolteacher Christabel Attard. The programme also included music, dance and interviews with the author, the illustrator and the publisher. Gozo College principal Anita Sciberras delivered a short message to parents and children.
