ISACA Malta at Europe-Africa leadership event

Gian Carlo Millo represented the ISACA Malta Chapter as vice-president in ISACA’s 2013 Europe-Africa Leadership Conference in Tel Aviv last month.

The two-day conference was attended by around 50 leaders from ISACA chapters in the Europe-Africa region.

“ISACA Leadership Conferences offer chapter leaders the opportunity to share experiences and to exchange best practices,” Mr Millo said. “The Malta Chapter makes every effort to be represented in all such events to ensure that its strategy remains aligned with the overall ISACA strategy.”

ISACA recently reached an association milestone of becoming 200 chapters strong, spread over 82 countries across six continents.

Chapters provide members with education, resource sharing, advocacy, professional networking and a host of other benefits on a local level. These are managed by over 2,000 dedicated volunteers who act as chapter leaders.

The next Europe-Africa Leadership Conference will be held in London in September 2013.
