The European Workplace Innovation Network (EUWIN) supported by the European Parliament was introduced on April 10.

It aims to enhance the competitiveness of the European economy. It is viewed as another step in converting Europe into an innovation hub.

In the course of the next three years, the European Workplace Innovation Network intends to raise awareness on the benefits of innovation and how this can contribute towards the better competitiveness and growth of European businesses.

Four company leaders, who were present at the launch, shared their experience of their effort to boost their company’s turnover and enhance their work organisation. These experiences provided the audience with concrete evidence of the economic benefits which may be reaped by large corporations and SMEs.

The EUWIM aims to support the development of the learning networks with a view to assisting stakeholders in identifying business success stories and share them with other firms throughout Europe. The main aim behind this initiative is to create a culture of innovation in European businesses by means of the pooling of information and the establishment of a system of best practice sharing on a continental scale.
