ATTARD. On April 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, EDWIN, aged 85, went to meet the Risen Lord Jesus, comforted by the grace of the sacraments of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his beloved wife Rosalie née Stafrace, his sons Fr Stefan and Marco, his daughter-in-law Krista, his grandson Michael Edward, his sisters Gertrude, Mary, Cettie and her husband Charles Brincat, his mother-in-law Antonia Stafrace, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetry. No flowers by request but donations to the Archbishop’s Seminary, Tal-Virtù, or Id-Dar tal-Providenza, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

VAN DER WEERDEN. On April 21, at his residence, HERMAN, aged 74, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his great loss his loving wife Carmen, his beloved children Nella and Cynthia, their spouses Hilary and Victor, other relatives and friends. A service will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Mellieħa parish church, followed by inter-ment at Sultana tal-Vittorji Cemetery, Mellieħa. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Requiem Mass

A Mass for the repose of the soul of VINCENT SPITERI STAINES will be said tomorrow at 6.45pm at St Patrick’s church, Sliema. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
