• As part of its 10th anniversary, Heritage Malta will be opening all its sites to the public for free today. They are the Gozo Museum of Archaeology, the Folklore Museum, the Gozo Nature Museum, the Old Prison (Citadel, Victoria), Ta’ Kola Windmill and Ġgantija Temples in Xagħra.

• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm, followed by the recitation of the rosary and Eucharistic benediction.

• Brothers and sisters of the Neocatechumenal Way are holding a series of evangelisation meetings, starting at 5.45pm on the parvis at Ta’ Pinu. Each session includes vespers, singing, experiences by Neocatechumenal youths and a catechesis on important fundamental matters such as Who is God for You? Does Life have any Sense? The Good News of Our Lord Jesus and What does the Church Mean to You? This is part of a pastoral effort by the Neocatechumenal Way entitled Evangelisation in Squares, taking place in 10,000 squares simultaneously around the world.

• The seventh edition of the Seħer il-Punent festival by Għarb council will start today at 9.30am with the production of the largest ġbejna (cheeselet), a motorcycle show and a folk matinee, followed by Carnival in Spring and a dance marathon.

There will also be guided tours to Għarb Basilica and the Museum Ecclesia Mater at 3.30 and 6pm. There will also be the final round of the tug-of-war competition, highlights from the Abba Dance Show and a concert by Cash and Band.

• Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 6pm.

• The philanthropy group NiSeis will be holding its second Kids’ Walk for Charity in Marsalforn today at 3pm. Funds for Fr Joseph Camilleri to support his noble mission in Guatemala, where he runs a hospital, will be collected. • Wirt Għawdex will be holding a public lecture entitled The Cultural Legacy of Malta and Gozo by Vincent Zammit on Wednesday at the Santa Cecilia chapel at 6.30pm.

The lecture will include a photographic presentation by Daniel Cilia as an introduction to a new series of books with the same name. The first book in the series will be available for sale.

• The 75th anniversary of the Catholic Action Movement in the parish of San Lawrenz will be commemorated with a series of activities, including in a Diocesan celebration on Saturday. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will celebrate Pontifical Mass at 7pm, attended by representatives from other centres around Gozo. The first ecclesiastical assistant Dun Ġużepp Cauchi will be remembered with the launch of a booklet featuring a selection of lessons he wrote for meetings.

• The Victoria Scout Group will be holding a car wash on Saturday from 8am to 8pm in the parking area in front of the Girls’ Secondary School in Victoria. The proceeds will be distributed between the Arka and the Oasi Foundations.

• The Bethel Charismatic Group will be holding a prayer meeting at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Saturday at 7pm.

• The Diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at the Good Shepherd church, Victoria, on Saturday at 8.30pm, followed by Mass at midnight.

• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly are holding a charity fair at the Victoria football ground next to the main car park next Sunday from 7am to 1pm. A fee of €10 per car space will be payable on the day. For more information, call 2155 3336.
