The next music appreciation evening being organised by the German-Maltese Circle’s Classical Music Group will be devoted to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s great Coronation Mass No. 16, K. 317, which he composed in 1779.

Martin Spiteri will deliver a presentation in English, featuring a June 1985 recording at St Peter’s Basilica in Rome by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir conducted by Herbert von Karajan.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday at the German-Maltese Circle’s premises, Messina Palace, St Christopher Street, Valletta, at 6.30pm. Entrance is free.
