Easter Sunday in a very busy Qawra, my husband and I decided to take a walk in the beautiful sunshine we had that day. While I was out I looked for my purse, only to find I didn’t have it. I thought I had perhaps left it at home. However, after searching everywhere I still could not find it.

On the Monday, my husband called the Qawra police station to report the loss. My purse was there. May I thank the two young officers on duty for their help.

I would also like to thank the kind and honest person who went out of his way to return my purse intact and saved me the hassle of having to cancel bank cards, reapply for ID cards and bus passes.

It made me feel really good to realise such people still existed.
