Alexis: Getafe defender Alexis has been banned for four matches following his sending-off against Real Valladolid at the weekend. The 27-year-old was sent off for an elbow on Patrick Ebert. Alexis was handed an extra two games for his protestations and a further game for spitting into the crowd.

Juve boys: Juventus beat Napoli 2-1 on Tuesday in the Coppa Italia final for youths to clinch the title 3-2 on aggregate. The match was played in front of an almost full-house at the San Paolo stadium. Federico Mattiello scored Juve’s winner in the second half of extra-time.

Tonev: Aleksandar Tonev says it is an honour to be a target for Celtic. The Lech Poznan winger has regularly been linked with a move to Celtic, and is also reportedly a target of Fiorentina and Lazio. However, the 23-year-old is prepared to reject the opportunity to head to Serie A. “It’s an honour to know Celtic are interested in me,” Tonev said. “Their performance in Europe this year has shown they are ready to create some new history.”

Lacazette: Alexandre Lacazette will be out for three weeks with a thigh injury. “Out for about three weeks,” the Lyon striker wrote on his Twitter feed after undergoing an MRI. Lacazette, who scored three goals from 28 appearances this season, is expected to return to action on May 11 when Lyon take on leaders Paris SG.
