Steve Camilleri’s scoring rate is still leaving an impact on his Italian team RN Bogliasco.

After missing the match against Acquachiara the previous week while he was on duty for the national team in Denmark, Camil-leri was back in Italy on Saturday and again scored five goals in his side’s 14-8 defeat at the hands of third-placed Savona.

That was the fifth time he had netted a nap-hand of goals in Serie A this season

Camilleri has led the Bogliasco scorers’ list since the season started and is now well ahead of his team-mates.

With one match left in the league campaign, his total of 46 goals so far has helped him strengthen his position in the top-six overall scorers in the Italian elite division.

It must also be noted that Camilleri’s remarkable scoring record has helped him net 26 goals out of the 65 Malta scored in their five matches in Denmark.
