On April 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, Sister CRISTINA, of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Jesus of Nazareth, Żejtun, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the General Superior, her sisters of the congregation, her siblings Sister Vincenza, Carmen, Joe and his wife Vera, Lucy and her husband Charles, Lilly and her husband Joe, Vicki widow of Anġlu, Grace and her husband Charles, Joyce and Rena as well as her nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 2.45pm today for Jesus of Nazareth Institute chapel, Żejtun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the congregation’s grave at St Gregory Cemetery, Żejtun. BORG. On April 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, Mgr INNOCENZO, aged 91, of Luqa, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his nephews Anton and his wife Rosalie Cassar, Joseph and his wife Joanne Cassar, Patrick and his wife Liliana Cassar, Phyllis and her husband Edmond Bartolo, Raphael and his wife Oriana Borg Ellul Vincenti, his brother’s widow Lilian Borg Ellul Vincenti, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, other relatives and friends, including Richard and Lucia Massa. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for the Kappella tal-Ftajjar, Luqa, from where the cortege departs for Luqa parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Luqa cemetery.
