The second edition of My Europe Short Film Festival, being held tomorrow and on Friday, encourages people from all countries, be they artists or film-makers, to promote discussion on different views on Europe. It also aims to serve as a platform to encourage short film distribution from Eastern and south-Eastern Europe.
The festival presents two different themes: tomorrow, the programme, entitled Living in Europe, includes stories about cultures, traditions, expectations, authentic experiences and particularities.
On Friday, the theme is Politics and Policies, and the short films presented make a statement about borders, conflicts and diplomacy, decisions, consequences, confrontations and compromises.
The audience may vote for their favourite film, and the film with most nominations will receive the Audience Award at the award ceremony held in Berlin in June.
Meanwhile, local film-makers are encouraged to submit their own short films for the next edition of My Europe Film Festival. For more information send an e-mail to euromediaforum@gmail.com.
