A Ryanair flight from Malta to Luton returned to Malta today after a mishap during take-off.

The plane brushed the fuselage under its tail fin with the runway as it took off at a steep angle. The flight was aborted and the plane landed back in Malta.

The plane was inspected by technicians, who found that the damage was only to a plastic protector and the flight will be performed by the same aircraft at 6.30pm.
