A 54-year-old man from Zabbar who was injured in a traffic accident in Marsascala on Christmas Eve passed away today, the police said.

The man was  hit by a car in Triq San Gwakkin. The car, a  Toyota Vitz, was driven by a 23-year-old woman from Zabbar.

A magisterial inquiry is being held.
