Glenfiddich is the only Scotch whisky distillery to use a single source of natural spring water. Moreover, 120 years later, Glenfiddich is one of the very few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family owned. The whisky is a true reflection of the passion, determination and pioneering spirit.
The Glenfiddich whiskies range is a stand-up-and-be-counted collection. No other distillery can lay claim to having a landmark collection which includes the oldest Scotch whisky ever bottled and the most expensive Scotch whisky ever sold. Glenfiddich, which translates in Scots Gaelic to “valley of the deer” is now the world’s most awarded single malt based on blind tasting competitions such as the IWSC in London.
Brian Kinsman is the sixth ever malt master and is responsible for ensuring the quality of the Glenfiddich spirit and for innovating new Glenfiddich variants such as Snow Phoenix and Malt Masters Edition. Kinsman served an eight-year apprenticeship under the guidance of David Stewart, the world’s longest serving malt master. Stewart is now in his 51st year with William Grant and Sons and is responsible for Glenfiddich’s sister distillery, The Balvenie.
Glenfiddich is distributed by Francis Busuttil & Sons. For trade enquiries call on 2148 4492 or send an e-mail to info@fbsmarketing.com.
