Video interviews of youths talking about their careers and talents are being featured on The Zone at www.timesofmalta.com/thezone. Tomorrow two new interviews will be uploaded on the following youths:

Thomas Diacono, restaurateur.Thomas Diacono, restaurateur.

Thomas Diacono has always known he would end up working in catering.

He was brought up to love and appreciate food and cooking. His family has been in the catering business and, as Diacono puts it himself, “guys buy car magazines, I buy cook books”, because he loves cooking that much.

At only 24, Diacono and his brother have now started their own fast-food restaurant.

From getting a bank loan to making their own menus and selecting high-quality ingredients, they do everything by themselves.

See what it takes to run a restaurant at such a young age and be inspired.

The profession of being a disc jockey has always been very attractive among young people.

The Zone decided to interview James Cassar, a young DJ enthusiast to see what makes him want to become a professional DJ, what it takes to become one and how DJs find their own venues and make a name out of their DJing.

Watch the interview with Cassar tomorrow on The Zone.

Get heard and share your own experiences with others. Tell them about your career choice, what it takes to get where you are, the ups and downs you experience, and offer advice to those who are still uncertain about what they want to do in the future.

To be interviewed for The Zone, send an e-mail with a brief description of your career, talent, or a social issue you would like to discuss.

Alternatively, you can send your own video. Send a low-resolution version of your file to thezone@timesofmalta.com.
