Joseph Calleja singing Valletta’s praises

World famous tenor Joseph Calleja proudly escorted a German film crew around Valletta yesterday for a TV programme showcasing the capital.

“I feel re-energised the moment the door of the plane opens in Malta,” he told the film crew at Upper Barrakka Gardens.

“All Maltese have a duty to be ambassadors for our island,” he said.

The German crew were in Malta to shoot an episode of a special Euromaxx series entitled Euro 28 to mark the show’s 10 years on the air.
