About €600 were stolen early yesterday morning in a hold-up on an ice-cream parlour in Borg Olivier Street, St Julian’s.

The police said the incident happened at 12.45 a.m.

A hooded man entered the outlet armed with a knife, demanded cash from the salesperson and ran away with the money.

No one was injured in the incident.
