Seventy-two students recently graduated in various study programmes organised by Computer Domain, Mosta, exclusive partner for the University of Hertfordshire, the UK, at a ceremony held at the Radisson Blu Resort and Spa, Golden Sands.
Fifteen students graduated with a Edexcel Higher National Diploma, 36 students graduated with a first degree in BSc (Hons) IT and 21 students were awarded a Master’s degree in IT.
This is the fourth year that Domain Group students are graduating with a first degree in BSc and Masters. Sixty per cent of the Bachelor’s graduates were awarded a first-class degree and 81 per cent of the Masters graduates were awarded a distinction.
The remaining graduates obtained a second-class degree or a commendation in the case of Masters graduates.
The Higher National Diploma graduates had similarly impressive results.
The University degrees were conferred by the University of Hertfordshire programme tutor for BSc Computer Science Online/Tutored E-Learning, Mariana Lilley, while the Btec Edexcel International diplomas were conferred by Eddie Connor, Edexcel International regional development manager for Europe.
The ceremony was also attended by Mariette Berkhout, head of online programmes at the University of Hertfordshire.
