More than 50 companies from seven countries have regis-tered for the Unlocking the Potential business-to-business event organised by the Enterprise Europe Network office within Malta Enterprise next month.

An opportunity for international contacts

More participants are expected to register for the two-day event on April 17 and 18 which will bring together entrepreneurs involved in a range of sectors from advanced manufacturing, aviation, ICT and digital games production, food and beverages, life sciences, logistics, maritime, renewable energy and sustainable construction.

The event is an ideal platform for entrepreneurs seeking to explore business opportunities overseas. It is a unique opportunity for businesses to find new international contacts likewise seeking prospective partners and opportunities.

Through the one-to-one meetings, entrepreneurs will be able to meet prospective partners from different countries within a short time, providing a cost and time effective way to search for new customers, technology and suppliers.

These factors contribute to the success of such networking events held within the EEN, with past experiences showing that practically a third of participants sign some form of contract following a ‘matchmaking’ event similar to the one that will be held in Malta.

The event programme also includes information sessions delivered by key expert speakers on business opportunities in the Euro-Med region, innovation in business, family businesses, procurement opportunities in the World Bank and social networking.

The Eureka Café will be running throughout the two days, showcasing European project consortia looking for relevant partners.
