Delegates from 17 countries recently travelled to Malta at the invitation of AOPA Malta for the 128th regional meeting of the International Council of Aircraft Owner and Pilot Associations at the Malta Aviation Museum.

Discussions focused on regulatory changes imposed by the European Aviation Safety Agency which are raising many issues across Europe.

The event was chaired by AOPA UK’s European Region senior vice-president and chief executive Martin Robinson. Tourism Minister Karmenu Vella addressed participants.

With a membership base of more than 400,000 pilots and aviation enthusiasts in the US, AOPA is the largest, most influential aviation association in the world. AOPA has achieved its prominent position through effective advocacy, leadership, technical competence and hard work.

Providing member services that range from representation at the federal, state, and local levels to legal services, advice, and other assistance, AOPA has built a service organisation that far exceeds any other in the aviation community.

The event was supported by CSB Group and CSB Advocates, which specialise in assistance with aviation industry services.
