Two people had to be treated for mild hypothermia after they were rescued when their boat capsized after battling Force 5 winds near Comino late this morning.

A third person, who was also on the boat, did not require treatment. The three people - two men and a woman, were accompanied by three dogs, two were saved but one died.

The AFM, whose assistance was requested at 11.40am sent a patrol boat and a helicopter to the site to give the required help.
